![]() What is God wanting to say to you today? The bible is full of parables and promises, but there is something He has specifically for your heart today! That dream that you have had perfectly perched on the shelf. You know, the one that awakens the deepest parts of your heart. God hasn’t forgotten it, and He hasn’t forgotten you. Sometimes we can get so wrapped up in the carpools, laundry, and dinners that we forget to tend to our own dreams. God dares us to dream bigger! His dreams for you will require you to move into the uncomfortable places. Don’t be alarmed over discomfort, it is the stretching that is producing growth! Ephesians 3:20, tells us “God can do anything, you know--far more than you could ever imagine or guess or request in your wildest dreams! He does it not by pushing us around but by working within us, His Spirit deeply and gently within us.” (MSG) Take a moment to get quiet with God and allow Him to speak to your heart regarding the dreams He has for you. The roots run deeper than even you know. In Isaiah 49:16 The Lord reminds us that we are not forgotten. He has your name written on the palms of His hands; you are never far from His thoughts. Write it down! Share it with a friend! Make it known! When we share our dreams they become real, living, breathing dreams. When we write them down they begin to take shape. It’s then that we become accountable to bringing them to reality. Be encouraged that you are enough and that He is faithful to complete every good and perfect work He began in you. He will honor your obedience to follow through.

Sometimes I feel like I get stuck in the story. Kinda like in the movies when the main character is running to/from something and their foot gets caught in a break in the floor boards...isn't time always of the essence in these situations? Last year, I purchased a book titled, 100 Things God Loves About You! My intention was to use it as inspiration to help me better encourage my online friends & family with more consistency. Of course, as with most endeavors, life sorta took over and other responsibilities pushed their way to the top of my priority list. I picked up the book thinking that it was more for those people around me that I do life with. I opened it for the first time today with the intent to post for all of you. As I read the first line, a smile washed over my heart as I read the words, "1 God loves your story." "All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be" Psalm 139:16 ![]() For the last several years I have made it my mission to "Joan of Arc" the war cry of IDENTITY & SELF WORTH in women. The way this started was when the Lord raptured my heart with His love at the age of thirty-three years young. I dove in head first into lots of counseling, self-help classes, and freedom ministry. From the moment that I had a taste of what LOVE felt like, I wanted, no, NEEDED more. So, today, when I cracked open this beautiful book of encouragement I had the epiphany that often times we fail to compose our own story (writer's block) because we are so wrapped up in the climax of someone else's, or in the expectations we believe someone else is placing on us. The reality is that FEAR shackles us, holding us back from the promises and dreams that have already been written out on our hearts. The truth, "God LOVES your story!" So write it! Live it out loud! Step into the reflection of who God says you are, and out of agreement with striving to look like or be someone you are not. Sure, it might seem scary or not make any sense at first. BUT GOD is a promise keeper and I guarantee you when you align your self with your God given identity you will experience a JOY that is unspeakable. The crazy thing is that, even then, it is IMPOSSIBLE to comprehend the length, depth, breathe and height of how GREAT HIS LOVE IS FOR YOU! (Ephesians 3:18) So, the cure for writer's block...write YOUR story! |
