This year has been amazing!!! We celebrated many milestones this year including the one year anniversary of moving into our new home in October. We also celebrated our 11th wedding anniversary and being friends for 24 years! Our time together has not always been easy but we would not change a moment of it. It has been a part of becoming who we are today and shown us the strength and faithfulness of the Lord in many ways. Also has been a testimony we had been able to share with others. I am blessed to be married to my best friend. Tom started off the year turning 34 in January. He is still enjoying working at Education Service Center, Region XI. Where they offer continuing education for teachers. He is a part of their "Geeks on call" dept there, hehe. No seriously, he is a Database Programmer but I never think that job title encompasses all that he does. He is such a smart man and really does have a heart for people. One of this things that I think I have noticed more this year than ever with Tom is how much of a giver he is. He loves to give and serve others. This quality in him really shows in the way he serves me and the kids at home. The way that he gives sacrificially and loves on each of us and in each of our own love languages. We enjoyed a sweet time of telling him how and why we love him so much just this last week. We truly are a blessed family to call him our own.
I celebrated my 35th birthday in October, seriously where has the time gone? I still feel like I am in my 20's. I have also enjoyed being a part of the T2|Trained by Grace ministry this year. Establishing new friendship and getting to serve all of the amazing women that are a part of this group this year. Making the transition from having kids home to having them all in school, I am not gonna lie, has been so easy in some ways but it does have it moments. I am enjoying getting to watch our lives unfold while taking a bit of a breather from being with kids 24/7. I have been abundantly blessed with so many amazing women/friends this year. Sometimes I get overwhelmed and find myself in tears when I take a moment to truly look at the beautiful masterpiece the Lord has made and is continuing to make of my life. I have also had the opportunity to work alongside a friend of mine Cindy with her business Flash-Pics Photo Lounge. So in case you were wondering about my photography business, It has been put on hold until I am able to purchase some new gear but I am getting my fix helping out with some wedding receptions and other special events. We are members at Gateway Church in Southlake, Tx., and have been there for 10 years this February. Tom and I have had the opportunity to be a part of the GXP ministry team this year, which has been so fun. There is something about serving alongside my husband that just makes my heart happy. Brayden's birthday was also in October, he turned 10 this year. He is doing an amazing job at tackling the 4th grade as an A/B sudent. He loves going to church, singing and hanging out playing Minecraft with his friends. He is such a smart kid, very inventive and in charge. Brayden's picture made the city of Justin newspaper. A picture of him at the NWISD Speed to Read program assembly at the Texas Motor Speedway, too fun! Noah just turned 9 at the beginning of the month (Dec.). He is still a pretty quiet guy most of the time. However this year I have really seen him come into his own. He is such a comic, always being silly and making people laugh. We have really made it a point this year to really engage him. He, like his dad was as a kid, would be happy in a room with a box of legos for hours. Noah is in the 3rd grade this year and is loving hanging out in a classroom with all new kids and making new friends. We decided to separate them this year, instead of having him and Celeste put in the same classroom and He really seems to be coming out of his shell. He has been an A honor roll student all year and has made the first round of the school spelling bee! Noah was also featured in the City of Justin newspaper for A honor roll, very cool. Celeste, of course also turned 9 at the beginning of the month (Dec.) and is also in the 3rd grade and loving it. She has been an A/B student all year and just got another ribbon for perfect attendance! She and Noah have this way about them that is something that they do not share with their other siblings. They are connected, always got each others backs. In fact, I even asked tom the other day if the two of them ever fight because I honestly cannot think of a time when they have. This was when I joked and said maybe our kids should have been quads (lol) might have gotten rid of the "Referee hat" that I have to wear so often. Anyways Celeste is a nurturer. She is a little bit of a Tom-Boy while still being all girl. I am not sure how that works itself out but she makes it happen. Children are drawn to her. She loves to sing, dance and just hang out having fun with friends. She is so beautiful, her insides match her outsides. She has the most sweet way about her, she is a friend to everyone. In November Kyra turned 7, can you believe it! Kyra is loving the 1st grade and is seriously blossoming into quite the young lady. She is a girl who knows what she wants and is not afraid to share that with anyone. She is very imaginative and truly believe that there is nothing that cannot be attained. This girl is all P R I N C E S S, glitter, sparkle, and red (is her pink). She loves, nail-polish shoes, clothes (O M G), and this short-stack can shop! She is so funny and silly too. Kyra has been doing a great job as a 1st grader! She has been an A/B student this year! So there it is, and quick overview of our year. It has been amazing, hard work, lots of amazing promises the Lord has given us have been gifts we have opened this year. From the house, to all our friends and some other big blessing that have happened like Tom's student loans being paid in full! We are so immensely blessed. We are thankful for all of you, our friends & family, the people we get to do this wonderful life with. We pray that you are favored in this coming year, that His blessing would shower you daily. Prayers of protection and provision over each of you and your families. Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!!! The Dromgoole Family Tom, Jessica, Brayden, Noah, Celeste & Kyra
